Delete your Jaju account
Jaju is a flashcard app by Niklas Angert. You can delete your Jaju account and its data at any time.
In the app
- Open Jaju and tap your profile picture at the top left.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with your password, or sign in with Google again if you use Google sign-in.
Without the app
Email jajuhelp@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Jaju account". Your account will be deleted within 30 days, and you will get a reply when it is done.
What is deleted
Your profile and display name, your decks and cards, every answer and practice session, your streak, XP, level and badges, and your sign-in account. The app also removes this data from your phone and disconnects ChatGPT if you had connected it. Another phone that was signed in to the account keeps its copy until someone signs in on it, and then removes it first.
Jaju's server keeps only a record of each AI request: when it was made, whether it ran on Jaju's OpenAI account or your ChatGPT plan, and on Jaju's account which feature it was for, how many tokens it used and what it cost. These records lose their link to your account and are deleted once they are 90 days old, by a job the server runs every day. Google, which runs Jaju's sign-in, removes the sign-in account from its backup systems within 180 days.
